Fourth of July

We are late (as usual): Yesterday, Americans celebrated their nation’s 234th Independence Day with parades and fireworks all over the country.

Whatever! Let us go back even further in time. Here’s a fireworks timelapse as seen on Fourth of July 2008 from a friend’s apartment facing towards the fireworks, each frame taken at 1 second intervals over 21 minutes and 11 seconds, making for a total of 1,271 frames (- brownpau on YouTube).
