Our Weekly Postcard (LXXXVIII)

… is only an embedded YouTube video, since it’s already Saturday afternoon. But a video of an excellent performance of That’s What Friends Are For by saxolady from Austria.

Have a nice time! Confidence in the stock market increases. We hope to be back next week with more and more good news from the financial world.

Economic War: The Prussian Boots vs. Switzerland

Big Mouth Peer Steinbruck, the German finance minister, just compared us with American Indians… What a nice compliment! We like the Indians; we like them so much more than the Krauts in their boots…

Speaking of shoes, the Stiletto Season is standing at the door knocking, and I just watched Lee Carr’s 2008 spring song Stiletto video again. Yes, black or tanned women with (or even without) stilettos are so much more beautiful than bleached out white men, especially German politicians.

She lookin mean in em’
Yea yea yea yea
She lookin mean in em’
Yea yea yea yea
She lookin mean in em’
Yea yea yea yea… more lyrics

But still far better than Steinbruck in his boots… What a crazy time we live in!
