Stock Markets: What A Day!
That was fifteen minutes before the Closing Bell:

We need much more money to be bumped pumped into the economy! Otherwise, we will have a double-dip recession.

Our Weekly Postcard (CXI)
Two Three recreational days ahead of us after a hard week at work. Weather forecast and radar for Switzerland: Cloudy, and that’s good because we will stay at home instead of going for a swim in Lake Zurich. So we will have some time for a glimpse or two into the Internet.
Have a good Friday and weekend!
Front Side:
The front page of Spanish newspaper Diario de Sevilla (from Jueves = Thursday, fifth fourth day of the week). Some recreational days ahead also for First Lady Michelle Obama and her nine-year-old daughter Sasha. They have just arrived in Spain for a brief holiday.
breakingtravelnews writes that Michelle Obama and her guests were paying for their own rooms, with rates beginning at $434 per night. Only the Secret Service and other staff stay at United States taxpayer expense.
That’s fair, I think.

Dear Dog Lovers – It was in 1873 that…
… here in the dark and dank Kesslerloch cave in northern Switzerland (picture from Wikipedia):

… some ol’ bones were found. At that time, nobody knew what was going on — but now the truth came out:
Those ol’ bones are quite likely the oldest known remains of man’s best friend.
The Kesslerloch cave is not much more than just at a stone’s throw away from the Paperholic office. I am pretty sure that there are more interesting archaeological finds to be made, and in the next days I will order some shovels and gumboots.
Indeed, thrilling days ahead. So stay tuned, pls, I will inform you of any progress in this matter as soon as possible.
Thanks for your attention!

Österreich / Haider-Konten: Update
[Paperholic: Österreich / Haider-Konten: Hat Gerry die Millionen?, 2. August]
Haider-Millionen: Schweiz statt Liechtenstein?
More than £40million in undeclared cash belonging to Austria’s late far-Right leader Joerg Haider has been found in the secretive European principality of Liechtenstein. – The money, in euros, was discovered in accounts uncovered by investigators from Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
Provisorische Antwort: Medien-Skandal.
