Dear Readers – We hereby inform you that…

…to serve you better in the future, we are performing maintenance works in our offices during the coming week.

Heavy blogging will not be possible for us. Maybe, we will post two or three photos, and we are sure that our CEO will write, once more, some wise lines about our header image.

Today, as you can see below, we have already laid plenty of newspapers down on the floors to protect them from paint spatters and drips. Newspapers serve much better than plastic sheetings because plastic is slippery (when wet), and we want to avoid falling accidents.

Thanks for visiting us.

Our Weekly Postcard (C)

It’s Friday! Tomorrow will be Saturday, followed by Sunday. Time of family life for those who have a family. Enjoy it, but always keep in mind: Use energy with care, especially in the evenings. Turn off unnecessary lamps. It’s for (your) children’s sake, and so on – you surely know what I mean: The ice caps are melting, and your budget is getting smaller and smaller in the coming years, you should try to put some money aside now.

Backside is a photo (we shot in Berlin, Germany) expressing intimacy, but also waste. The classical case: Less would have been more – less light, more intimacy. I hope you agree with me.

Have a nice weekend!

Brilliant Inventions – today: Acquasantiera Elettronica†

The Inventor:
Luciano Marabese, Italy

The Idea:
I felt the need to change things, I noticed that slowly a desire of hygiene was coming to light, more and more frequently, even in places of cult. “Holy Water” has always been a symbol of life, strong value of our faith. My idea of Electronic Stoup tries to combine, in a virtuous mix, these values, adding them to the frequent need of purity ad freshness. (- Luciano Marabese)

The Design Principle:
Acquasant
An (excited) Review:
Telegraph.co.uk: Holy water dispenser combats spread of swine flu (November 12): … And he is now blessing himself all the way to the bank…

†For Contact and Orders:

Dear Dog Lovers – It was November 5th…

Dog… when I said that the situation here is not optimal. And as you can see, the new header image is still not cropped!

I have just suggested to the guys here, as an easy compromise, to put a picture of me into the header. But, unfortunately, there is no chance of this happening because a picture of me in the header would infringe, as I was said, our most important editorial principle formulated some years ago by dear Mister Kant:

DE NOBIS IPSIS SILEMUS.

That’s Latin, the old language spoken in ancient Rome. I just started learning Latin about 3 weeks ago, so I will soon be able to translate the principle for you.

But how long will the situation here remain suboptimal? Honestly said: I don’t know. But hope dies last, and soon or later, even the guys here will be able to start Photoshop and to crop the new header image.
