Endlich!

Roman Polanski in der Schweiz verhaftet (NZZ Online, 27. September)

Der weltberühmte Filmregisseur Roman Polanski ist bei seiner Einreise in die Schweiz am Flughafen Zürich verhaftet worden. Polanski wollte am Filmfestival von Zürich einen Preis für sein Lebenswerk als Regisseur entgegennehmen.

Stichwort ‘Chartist’

…sagte wörtlich ein Händler zu Reuters (Aktien von Schaffner und Rieter starten durch, cash – Wirtschafts- und Finanzinformationen im Klartext, 17. September).

Das erinnert uns daran, dass heutzutage ein Chartist ein Analyst ist, der seine Finanzprognosen aus (Chart-)technischer Sicht begründet (weissagt) – und nicht ein Anhänger der Chartisten, welche am Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts in Grossbritannien unter anderem die Abschaffung weiblicher Fabrikarbeit forderten, wie es wörtlich in Wikipedia: Chartisten heisst.
