Art: Ed Ruscha – Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings
The catalogue is a projected seven-volume series of books that will document the entire painting corpus of the artist from 1958 to the present. As each volume is published the information on this website will be expanded to include paintings up to that terminus.

Auction: Playboy – The Art of Beauty
17 illustrations from the magazine’s archives featuring a range of 11 artists such as Norman Rockwell, J. C. Leyendecker, Gil Elvgren, Maxfield Parrish, and Alberto Vargas will be auctioned on October 15 at Heritage Auction Galleries (Dallas), but bids are already being taken online.
Example: Lot No. 88356 – Yugoslav Nudist Camps from LeRoy Neiman (Playboy illustration, August 1969. Acrylic on board). Current Bid: $15,000.

… with a Montenegrin dog I photographed yesterday.

As you can see, the dog was very shy so I had no time to optimize the exposure settings.
