The spokesperson suggested the statues are unique because they incorporate the themes of old Chinese coins (the square holes), the year of the rat, the Olympics and the financial district into the design.

Wort zum Montag - Schweiz: Brauchen wir ein ‘Recht auf Stalking’?

Stalking (deutsch: Nachstellung) ist Privatsache und letztlich nur eine menschliche, allzu menschliche Form des Abarbeitens von psychischen Verletzungen, welche einer Person zum Beispiel durch Sitzengelassenwerden zugefügt wurden. Gemäss Umfragen, Blog-Einträgen, Kommentar-Threads zum Schicksal des stalkenden Armeechefs (CH)* scheinen - so mein Eindruck - nicht gerade wenige Bürgerinnen und Bürger dies so zu sehen.

:roll: Was die Frage aufwirft, ob Stalking in Zukunft denn nicht sogar als wünschenswerte Form der Selbsttherapie und als wertvoller Beitrag zur Förderung der Volksgesundheit zu bewerten sei..? Wird die Frage bejaht, ist das Stalking nicht nur als (Anzeige-)Delikt aus dem Strafrecht zu streichen, sondern sollte darüber hinaus als schützenswertes Rechtsgut verankert werden - idealerweise auf Verfassungsebene (siehe: geplantes Minarettverbot).

Dieses Recht auf Stalking ist dabei möglichst umfassend abzusichern. Man denke etwa an die Entlassenen: Es sollte ihnen möglich sein, ihre ehemaligen Chefs nächtens (zwischen eins und vier…) mehrmals telefonisch aus dem Schlaf zu reissen und sie tagsüber mit einschlägigen E-Mails einzudecken, ohne dass ihnen daraus Nachteile für ihr berufliches Fortkommen erwachsen (Stichwort: Revision von Daten- und Täterschutz).

Schliesslich sollte im Rahmen der hier skizzierten Rechtsrevision auch die Rolle des so genannten Opfers neu bewertet werden. Wehrt es sich, indem es beispielsweise Telefon und Handy abschaltet und/oder E-Mails ungelesen löscht, sollte sein Verhalten als eine besonders perfide Form der Nötigung beurteilt und mit Gefängnis nicht unter 3 Monaten bestraft werden.

:cry: PS: Bis dato unbeantwortet geblieben ist die Frage, welche der Schreibende bereits letzte Woche auf metablog.ch deponiert hatte: Welches Musikinstrument verträgt sich mit einer ERFOLGREICHEN Offizierslaufbahn? Harfe, Klavier und Orgel sind offensichtlich inkompatibel.

Our Weekly Postcard (LXXI)

There was so much kerfuffle over the last days. Some keywords:

So we need some relaxation time. Good weather provided, we will make a ride on river Rhein in our small rubber boat. But without going over waterfalls because we want to be back here on Monday.
