1000 Frames of Hitchcock

Hitchcock – stykke for stykke – das dänische Filmmagasinet Ekko hat am tirsdag dieser Woche an das Dekonstruktionsprojekt 1000 Frames of Hitchcock des Briten Dave Pattern erinnert.

Pattern hat 52 Hitchcock-Filme – von The Pleasure Garden (1925) bis Family Plot (1976) – auf je 1 000 Standbilder reduziert. Diese sollen, so liest man im Wiki, als Illustrationsmaterial für Blogs und Webseiten dienen.

Dass dies die Rechte-Inhaber an Hitchcocks Werken freut, darf mit Recht bezweifelt werden. Ekko schreibt in diesem Zusammenhang von einer gråzone.
