Video: NAPOLI – Emergenza rifiuti

Italy’s ban on smoking in public places has led to an 8% drop in cigarette consumption. When there is a lot of smoke in (and around) Napoli these days, it’s because citizens are burning garbage on the streets (as they did in 2007 and did repeatedly in many years before). Video added to YouTube on January 04, 2008.

        

Italian word vergogna means blemish in English.
