Paperholic: Hiatus Day 1 of 21. Only a look back…
We are on the road (in America). No chance to blog. We will hopefully have something new to say IN ABOUT THREE WEEKS (= 21 DAYS). Meanwhile, allow us to point out some posts we made since starting Paperholic in 2004. And, yes, we are using the Post Timestamp feature of WordPress.
So long!

Aviation: Vintage transports surviving on off-airport locations
The Aviation History and Photography website is a constantly growing database maintained by Ruud Leeuw. One of the site’s features we like most is about aircrafts which have survived on remote locations away from airports, as part of a restaurant, hotel or even a chicken coop. These survivors are easily overlooked.
Picture below: A DC-3, now used as a coffee shop at Shangrila Lake (Pakistan). About 30 years back, this plane had to make a forced landing in Indus River because of an engine trouble.

Take a photographic tour of some of England’s graveyards, cemeteries and other places of burial. Fascinating!
