Architecture/Video: Otto Wagner - Austrian Postal Office Savings Bank
The Austrian Postal Office Savings Bank in Vienna, constructed in two phases (1904-06 and 1910-12 respectively), is regarded as the most important work of Austria-Hungarian architect Otto Wagner (1841-1918) and as a milestone in the history of modern architecture.

From Our Archive: ‘Home, Sweet Home’

Photo found 2007 in Buenos Aires: Sabine and Karsten Quaschinsky with daughter Franziska in the kitchen of their new Berlin-Hellersdorf flat.
The photo was taken and distributed 1989 by General German News Service (ADN), the state news agency in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). From the text (in Spanish) on the backside: Los dos son tipógrafos. Actualmente, Karsten está cursando estudios por correspondencia para hacerse ingeniero…
