wireband

English rock band Wire, formed in London in October 1976 and intermittently active to the present, are going to release their new record Read & Burn 03 on November 12.

Art director and graphic artist Ralf Zeigermann, aka The Cartoonist, a (former) passionate musician himself, had the opportunity to talk to Colin Newman, the frontman of Wire, about the new release, about Wire and about the future of Wire.

You can download the podcast of the interview and listen to excerpts of the new Wire material in Mr. Zeigermann’s Cartoonist Exclusive from October 14.
