TextMap - The Entity Search Engine

TextMap tracks references to people, places, and things appearing in news text, so as to identify meaningful relationships between them. TextMap monitors the state of the world by analyzing both the temporal and spatial distribution of these entities. We currently analyze over 1000 domestic and international news sources every day. TextMap uses natural language processing techniques to identify entity references and a variety of statistical techniques to analyze the juxtapositions between them.

Swiss Blogosphere: BloggingTom - massenmedial geadelt

Verändert sich die (eigene) Wahrnehmung eines Blog-Eintrags, wenn er zur Grundlage eines so genannt professionellen Artikels wird..? Erscheint er (bzw. das Thema) einem dann wichtiger? Richtiger sicher nicht, denn an der Seriosität des Blog-Eintrags - genau gezählt: zwei Einträge - zweifelte man von Anfang an nicht, und schliesslich hat bis dato zumindest einer der angeprangerten Anprangerer subito Unrechtsbewusstsein entwickelt (und den Pranger abgebaut).

Für ein Mal verlief die Verdauungskette umgekehrt - das kommt in der Swiss Blogosphere leider so selten vor - aber wenn es vorkommt, dann fällt auffallend oft der Name BloggingTom. Ein Typ, den man im Auge behalten sollte… :cool:

Wonkosphere.com: A finger on the pulse of the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election

Die Quoten bei bwin sind eindeutig (Screenshot unten, Stand 15:00 MEZ). England - haushoher Favorit im Klassiker gegen Deutschland (sportlich gesehen). Aber bekanntlich ist noch nicht aller Tage Abend - wir tippen auf Unentschieden.

Wie Google gestern, Dienstag, bekannt gegeben hat, sollen in Zukunft unaufdringliche Werbebotschaften in den unteren Bildrand der Videoclips integriert werden.
