Weekend ante portas. Time for a good beer, or two. Time also for looking back. At the history of the Swiss Blogosphere, for instance. Following a graph of its development in the last years (from stats.blogug.ch / author: Patrice Neff):

May 2005: a total of 394 weblogs – - 298 (or 74%) active (*)
May 2006: a total of 1677 weblogs – - 1158 (or 69%) active
May 2007: a total of 2626 weblogs – - 1200 (or 45%) active

Data not strictly representative, of course. But we are long enough in the business to be sure that these tendencies are true.

What is the core of the matter? Is the blogging hype over here in Switzerland? More and more splogs, well camouflaged..? A weekend full of questions, you see. Until Monday!
