Video: Paris May 1968

Coming Sunday, the first round of the 2007 French presidential election will take place. If no candidate wins 50% or more of the vote, a second round between the two leading candidates will take place on Sunday, 6 May 2007. Predictions are uncertain but we think that Nicolas Paul Stéphane Sarközy de Nagy-Bocsa (*1955), simply known as Nicolas Sarkozy and head of the right-of-centre party UMP, has a pretty good chance to win.

Time for a nostalgique look back at May 1968 when a second French Revolution was truly in the air.
