Our Weekly Postcard (XIII)

A banknote from the Austro-Hungarian Bank (Vienna and Bécs, 1913)
As we wrote before (in German only): modern life is too complicated for us. Perhaps, we will retire from the current world and devote all of our time to vintage items and vintage links.
We start with the scan of a banknote from 1913, an objet trouvé from eBay, now in our piggy bank. One side of the banknote is in German language, the other side in Hungarian language. Keep in mind, please: there is no frontside and no backside respectively - abstractly seen, both sides are equal. Why? We cite from Wikipedia:
Austria-Hungary (German: Österreich-Ungarn, Hungarian: Osztrák-Magyar Monarchia), also known as the Dual monarchy or as the k.u.k. monarchy, was a dualistic state (1867-1918) in which the Kingdom of Hungary enjoyed self-government and representation in joint affairs (principally foreign relations and defence) with the western and northern lands of the Austrian Empire under the Austrian Emperors (who also reigned as Kings of Hungary) of the Habsburg dynasty. The federation bore the full name of “The Kingdoms and Lands Represented in the Imperial Council and the Lands of the Holy Hungarian Crown of St. Stephen”.
You see, things were easier… simplier in the old days, and the women were also beautiful (but less cheeky).

Fo Sindaco di Milano! Fo Sindaco di Milano! Fo Sindaco di Milano!

Dario Fo has a blog! Language: Italian. If you don’t understand Italian: Dario Fo and Franca Rame (his longtime compagnion) also have an archive on the blog with some material in jpg-format: ARCHIVIO.
Thinking FOWHO? Wikipedia has a Fo article in English. Fo received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997. Yes, time goes by.
