Tradition can be a very powerful force! Benefiting from the knowledge and craftsmanship developped during the Soviet era, the Russian watch manufacturers of today are masters of their trade and can enjoy a good reputation around the world. On the website of Sadcom (an online store based in Potomac Falls, Virginia, USA) you can find watches from Russian manufacturers like Vostok, Poljot, Raketa, Slava, Pobeda, Molnija, but also thousands of images of various Russian and Soviet memorabilia items like the photo below that was taken at the entrance to the 1st Russian Aero Exhibition in St.Petersburg in fall 1912, or the posters School of Patriotism and Participate in the Lottery from the year 1990.
